February Finals...
I have posted all of my receipts now into my uber-geeky spreadsheet system. (We at the Little Pink House embrace the nerd within.) I can say that this month was exceptional in several ways:
A.) It is a short month
B.) There were lots of simultaneous sales happening
C.) There were lots of coupons for those sales
D.) On top of my normal grocery budget, I still had some Christmas cash I could spend
E.) I never spend this much. So with all of that in mind, here is how we did:
Shelf Cost = $3,274.46
Coupons/Discounts Used = $2,748.55
Total OOP = $525.91
That's an 84% savings overall for my groceries, OTC meds, cleaning supplies, clothes, gifts, toiletries, and stationery.
On top of that, I still came out with $12 ECBs and am owed $38.98 in rebates! Yea February!
