Madly in Love Monday

While at the last Lowe's Build & Grow Clinic, I sat and watched the interaction between Diva & her Daddy.  

She would ask him a question on how to do something and he would tell her to read the directions.  

If she still had questions he would simply lead her to draw her own conclusions.  It was such a teachable moment for both Diva and myself.  

It's all to easy for me to jump right in wherever Diva is concerned and make decisions for her whereas Engineer lets Diva make her own judgments and mistakes.  

I love that about him.

In that one moment, amongst the banging of little hammers, wordlessly I was exhorted by my husband to guide our daughter to her conclusions instead of dragging her to my conclusions.
