Menu Plan Monday
This is the first week embarking on the whole try-out-at-least-five-recipes-from-all-cookbooks-in-an-effort-to-possibly-relieve-some-shelf-space project. This week we will be recipes from the Budget Buster Quick & Easy cookbook. The recipes from the book will be in bold and I will report back next week on the success or failure of the recipes and ultimately the fate of the cookbook.
Monday - Hearty Bean Soup
*Update*
It was pretty tasty and uber-simple - a great way to start this week. We paired it with a salad using red & yellow tomatoes, cucumbers, and basil from the garden. Mmmmmmm...
Tuesday - Turkey Meatballs, Broiled Potatoes w/Lime Mayo, & Broccoli
*Update*
This also was very tasty and simple. So far so good with this cookbook that I pulled out of the clearance bin at Kroger.
Wednesday - Spaghetti w/Tuna & Salad
*Update*
Super easy and everyone gave it a thumbs up. The salad was comprised of cucumber, yellow tomato, and various lettuces from our garden.
