Menu Plan Monday

This week we are adding another activity into the mix - youth group.  We are easing our way into our school year schedule.  Engineer started back to school last week >sigh< which means two things:  1.  we don't get to have our evenings with him since he is either watching lectures or studying and 2.  my dining room has been commandeered in order to be his classroom - that means no dinners at the table.

We had a lovely weekend spending time together, although I'm not sure Diva had as much fun trolling around Dillard's extra 40% clearance sale as Engineer and I did.

Last week's cookbook was very good; I suspected it would be.  Those hometown church cookbooks are always the best.

This week I will be using the Four Ingredient Cookbooks which is a cookery book my Momma gave me not too long after I got married.  I'm not sure that I have ever used it so here is its big debut.

Monday - Chicken & Rice and Marinated Brussels Sprouts
Tuesday - Cottage Cheese Stuffed Baked Potatoes and Italian Style Broccoli
Wednesday - Sausage Casserole, Corn Pudding, and Peas
Thursday - Potato Chip Chicken, Onion Custard, and Salad
Friday - Crabmeat Casserole and Cucumber Salad

I am posting this menu at Organizing Junkie as part of her Menu Plan Monday.

  4. So many of your dishes sound delicious. I'm not a big fan on onions, but onion custard sounds super interesting.
