Madly in Love Monday

I am madly in love this Monday with my Engineer because he is a great speaker (and sometimes brutally honest.)

While we were both still at university, we thought it would be fun to take a summer class together.  We chose Speech 101 and were excited at the chance to be in a class together especially since music majors and science/math majors didn't really have that many classes in common.

We both were not all that fond of the class but Engineer, being the way he is, took it very seriously. 
He thoughtfully planned out every detail of his speeches and would practice and time them.  He always spoke with clarity and they were always very interesting. 

I, on the other hand, would decide the subject matter of my speech as I was walking from my previous class to the speech class and then give my speech.  My speeches were also entertaining but may have been a little on the verbose side.

Fast forward to yesterday, Engineer and I both were asked to speak at a financial forum and it was speech class all over - with a twist.  As we were preparing, what did my wonderful loving supportive husband say to me?  He said, "Babe, I think you need an outline since we both know you tend to have verbal diarrhea."  Nice.  I prefer to think of it more as an elaborate speaking style. 

Bottom line, Engineer is very good speaker - and he's easy on the eyes which doesn't hurt.  ;) 
I just sit in the audience and make googoo eyes at him. 

As a side note, Engineer got an A in the class and I got a B because I always went over time.
