Madly in Love Monday

I am madly in love with my Engineer this morning because even though he thinks my big ideas sometimes will never work, he admits to me when they do.

For instance Diva's birthday party was something that he really didn't think we were going to pull off.  I know this because he was rather vocal about it.

It wasn't going to be dark enough for the movie - so we made the garage the theatre.
How in the world were we going to turn boxes into cars - stabilize the corners and away we went.
How are the kids supposed to decorate the cars - if you give a kid some duct tape...
A piece of plywood tacked to a table does not a concession stand make - so one got built from scratch.

It was really a matter of creative problem solving of which he was a part.  After the event was over and we were both physically and mentally exhausted, he did say, "I didn't think it was going to work but it did.  It always does." Because you are the most fabulous wife and mother on the planet and my life would be so boring without you in it.  I am a vanilla guy and you are the Hershey's syrup, whipped cream, nuts, and cherry that completes the sundae of my life.  Obviously that was the undertone of his statement - I just vocalized it for him.

1-4-3 EM because no matter how big the idea, you help make it happen...and you admit when I'm right.  ;)
