Two of My Favorite Things

...Carmex and vanilla.  I do love them both so when Carmex asked me to try out their new Carmex Vanilla scented click stick I was really excited to try this perfect combination.  I was not disappointed.

The new Carmex Vanilla click stick stats are as follows:

• Smooth new flavor

• Ultra moisturizing lip balm

• Non-addictive and not tested on animals

• Contains SPF 15 sunscreen

• Available in .15 oz. stick 

The bottom line is that the click stick works as well as, if not better than, the original and has a lovely smell. *Suggestion Carmex, since I know you are listening, how about this vanilla scent for your body lotions.  That would be super, thanks.*

 Carmex also has a new Carmex Lime Twist click stick that I was asked to try.  Do you remember the orange Moisture Plus Stick?  Unlike orange, lime is a citrus scent I can get behind.  The new Carmex Lime Twist smells like something from my childhood.  Maybe a Strawberry Shortcake lime doll or something.  I can't quite put my finger on it.  Engineer said it smells like lime Lifesaver candy but I don't think that's it.  It has bothered me for days that I can't recall the smell...I will let you know if I think of it.  Regardless, it is a non-offensive citrusy smell.

Both new click sticks have the signature Carmex tingle effect and both are silky on my lips.  They both have staying power and don't feel greasy.  This is why I love Carmex, they aren't afraid to try new things but they stay true to what makes their products great.

Everyone knows in the winter you need lip salve but in the summer it is just as important.  Going from the drying sun to the equally drying air conditioning makes summer a very important time to take care of your kisser.  The flavored Carmex sticks all have SPF 15 in them to give a little more protection from the sun.

The kind folks at Carmex really know how to request a review with flair.
