Menu Plan Monday

After the wacky days of last week, I am ready for a break.  I want easy.  I want quick.  I want diamonds...wait, that's for another want list.

As we continue to eat from the freezer I am amazed at how little of a dent we are actually making.  This happened the last time we attempted to eat from the freezer.  I am not complaining; I feel we are blessed to have this be the situation.

We had our neighborhood dinner this week on Sunday.  Because Neighbor Boy #2 is incredible at baseball, he plays in every all-star-super league whether it be spring or fall so we have to sneak Neighborhood Dinner in when we can.

The cantaloupe and watermelon wines that we made a couple of months ago will be ready this week to sample.  We are looking forward to that for sure.

Here's what we will be eating this week from the freezer:

Monday - Cream Peas, Chard, & Cornbread
Tuesday -Enchiladas, Rice, & Beans
Wednesday - Spaghetti & Meat Sauce, Spinach Salad, & Garlic Bread
Thursday - Spinach & Bacon Quiche and Green Salad
Friday - Date Night

This is part of Organizing Junkie's Menu Plan Monday.

  1. I am ready for an "easy" week, too! The fruit wines sound delicious. Can't wait to hear how they are. Thanks for coming by my blog!

  2. Thanks for stopping by Ms. Patty. We are anxious to have a little tasting later this week of both wines. I'll keep you posted.
