Menu Plan Monday

Happy Boxing Day! 

I hope you had a very merry Christmas.  We had a lovely morning just the three of us opening presents, having smoked salmon and champagne (our traditional Christmas morning breakfast) and basically relaxing with each other.  Then we met up with my parents and Engineer's dad for lunch then headed to Engineer's grandma's to visit before coming home and vegging out.  What a lounge-tastic day!

This week we are preparing for our annual New Year's Day "come and go" party.   That means cookin' and cleanin' up a storm.  I never did get my holiday baking done so somewhere in there, I need to do that too.  What does that mean for our suppers?  Easy - that's what it means.  I don't want to let the time with Diva & Engineer both home slip by me. 

Monday - Finger Food Buffet
Tuesday - Beans, Greens, & Cornbread
Wednesday - Roasted Vegetables & Pasta Salad
Thursday - Sweet Potato Chili
Friday - Date Night

Oh, and by the way, please check out the giveaway for The Drain Claw.  I know it has absolutely nothing to do with menus and may even put you off of your food but it is perfectly practical.  :)
