Menu Ideas from the Brookshire's Ad
A meal plan is a great way to save money and not waste food.
I want to show you that as long as you are intentional in your shopping and cooking, you will save money on your grocery bill regardless if you use coupons or not. Generally, the cost of the whole meal will be less than or equal to the tip you would leave at a restaurant.
These ideas are taken directly from the Brookshire's circulars.
This week you can feed your family quick and easy meals or stock up the freezer.
Roast, Rice & Gravy, and Green Beans
Use: Boneless Arm Roast (keep some of the broth/drippings back for soup later), Food Club 1lb. Rice, Food Club Frozen Green Beans x 2
Enchiladas, Rice, & Beans
Use: El Charrito Frozen Dinners x 4
Chicken Pot Pie & Grapes
Use: Banquet Chicken Pot Pies x 4, Red or White Seedless Grapes x 2lbs.
Fish Sticks, Fries, & Peas
Use: Gorton's Fish Sticks, 5lb. bag Potatoes, Food Club Frozen Peas x 2
