Dishing It Up
Welcome to the October Dishing It Up Recipe Hop Giveaway!
Dishing It Up is brought to you by Crunchy Frugalista, Dearly Domestic, Deals From MS Do, Pary Moppins, Saving Myself Silly, Southern Budget, The Springmount 6 Pack, and Thrifty Texas Penny.
Over the last year, our hop has grown and changed to make it better for you. Each month, we bring you recipes with a different theme.
October's theme is "Desserts and/or Halloween Party Food."
I've got to be honest, I host parties all year long for various occasions but Halloween is not one of those times. I have nothing against them and enjoy going to other people's parties, I just don't host them myself.
If I were to host a Halloween party I would make these cake balls and decorate them like eyeballs. Muhahahaha... All you would have to do is while the chocolate is still slightly melted, press on a lifesaver candy then put a chocolate chip in the center.
But, you really don't need an excuse to make them. Oh, and they freeze really well before you dip them in chocolate. That means you can keep a bag of these beauties in the freezer and when you need some for a party (or a chocolate injection) all you'll need to do is dip them in chocolate.
We would love to have you link up.
