Madly In Love
Engineer was gone on a long business trip towards the end of this year and he missed lots of the holiday activities that we usually all enjoy together.
Diva & I had the opportunity to ride The Polar Express and that night on the phone I told him how good the snickerdoodles they served on the train were. Well, he kept that in mind when he was driving home.
He looked up the bakery that supplied those cookies and on his way home, stopped into the that very shop to pick up snickerdoodles for Diva and me.
It was a fantastic, thoughtful, and addictive surprise.
This time next year I hope there will be no travelling for business...but if Engineer wants to take a jaunt down to Palestine for some cookies, I am totally on board.
