The Look On His/Her Face Made It All Worth It
Y'all, I don't really have much to say in reference to this topic. I've never really thought about it before.
I don't do acts of service or give gifts for the look on someone's face; I do or give them to glorify God.
Giving is not about giver. It's not even really about the receiver. It's about fulfilling a purpose.
As a Christian, I believe that I am called to care for my fellow man - help the helpless, give hope to the hopeless, and fill needs where I am able.
A smile across an earthly mouth, while a wonderful reward, does not make it all worth it; but, a "well done my good and faithful servant" from a heavenly mouth does.
