Madly In Love

Even though Engineer makes the money and handles all of our finances, he still consults me before making purchases.

That could be slacks or exterminator contracts, either way, he asks me first.

I appreciate that he does that since he could feel like he makes the money so he's entitled to spend on what he'd like.  Instead, he treats me as an equal in our money matters.

We are pulling together in one direction towards our financial goals:  he's the one who makes the money and I'm the one who stretches it until it screams.  That's why we make a good team.
