Perfectly Practical #150 - Get Rid of Wine Stains

Let's have a show of hands:  anybody ever had a dinner party where someone spilled wine on the tablecloth?

What about something like fruit being squished or spilled on the tablecloth?

Did you know that if you want to help ease the pain of the serious stain removal thrashing you will have to give that cloth later, cover the affected area with table salt.

Yep.  Ordinary table salt will help keep the stain from setting but you have to get to it quickly.  So as soon as the offense, er, I mean, accident happens, cover the area with salt.

Then launder as soon as you can.  :)
