Perfectly Practical #155 - Uses for Denture Tablets

Denture cleaners clean and disinfect and by using effervescence from its active ingredients, it helps remove stains.

Here are a few quick tips on using denture tablets for something other than dentures:

1.  Clean your retainer - Stick your retainer in a cup of water with a denture tablet to help clean in all the little crevices that your toothbrush won't reach.

2.  Clean stains out of a tea/coffee stained mug - Put a tablet in a stained mug and pour in some warm water.  Let stand over night and wash the mug in the morning.

3.  Clean stains out of a stained coffee pot - Put a tablet in a stained coffee pot and pour in some warm water.  Let stand over night and wash the mug in the morning.

4.  Clean a stained toilet bowl - Drop three tablets in the bowl and leave overnight.  In the morning, swish it around really good with your toilet brush.
