Last week I mentioned how I came about my label maker and that it is one of my favorite gadgets.

Here are perfectly practical tips on labeling dry goods:

1.  I can find what I am looking for quickly.
2.  I don't confuse like items i.e. the all-purpose flour with the self-rising flour.
3.  I know at a glance which items I am running low on.
4.  Other people can find what they are looking for when they are cooking in my kitchen.
