Menu Plan

I forgot to mention last week that that Ladies-wot-Brunch were here recently and our menu consisted of:

Caramel Drizzle Coffee

Muffaletta

Pasta Salad

Carrot Salad

Spinach Salad w/Warm Peach & Thyme Dressing

Chocolate Cookie Cheesecake

Diva went to summer camp today.  

It's her last hurrah before school starts.  

A little bittersweet for both of us.

We met Engineer's parents for lunch then all drove out together to drop her off in the even Deeper Piney Woods of East Texas than where we normally live.  She's going to have an amazing time but let's hope I don't get another call from the nurse's station this year informing me that the child wore her glasses while sailing, was hit with the boom, and now some fish can see really well.

This is my last chance to do any major clear outs or clean ups before we swing into action for school and all "H" breaks loose.  

You know what I mean...the "H" word...Holidays...what did you think I meant? 

I know that's a little mean to spring on you in August but we all need to face the facts that they are right around the corner.

With that being said, here's what we week-long empty nesters will be eating:

Sunday - Pizza, Grapes, & Salad

Monday - Lamb Pitas w/Tzatziki & Greek Salad 

Tuesday - Black Beans w/Pico de Gallo & Cornbread Muffins

Wednesday - Stuffed Eggplant, Ratatouille, & Vermicelli

Thursday - Leftovers

Friday - Date Night

Saturday - Dinner with Friends
