Madly In Love

We have a running joke ever since our mission trip this summer that "words have power."  It's a long story.

But there is something that Engineer says to me where that running joke, isn't so funny:  it's truthful.

He doesn't say it sarcastically.
He doesn't say it under duress.
He doesn't say it because I fished for it.

Engineer looks at me earnestly, with a sweet half-cocked smile on his face and out of the blue will utter the phrase, "all I want to do in this life is to make you happy."

I melt every time he says it.
Them's some mighty powerful words indeed.
