We had a lovely Holy Week.
Our church choir in conjunction with another local church choir, sang Faure's "Requiem" and Diva was the soloist on Maundy Thursday.
Even though she was a little nervous, she did a great job.
What a wonderful experience for our twelve year old.
What a sweet experience for those in the audience.
What a blessed experience for this Momma.

Not only is Faure's "Requiem" one of my favorite pieces to sing and listen to, Diva's solo, the "Pie Jesu," was sung at our wedding.
Once again bringing life full circle.

ReplyDeleteYou can! Go to http://www.cumberlandofmarshall.org/ and on the right hand side there is something about Easter services. Find the Faure "Requiem" clip and start about 22:00. She begins before then but by 22:00 is warmed up and a little more comfortable and solid. :)
