Madly in Love

This weekend we celebrated Engineer's birthday.

We have now known each other half of his life.

The man intrigues me.  Here is this geeky and undeniably intelligent Engineer who plays a mean trombone and bass guitar and laughs every single time he sees "The Emperor's New Groove".

Anyone who will take a business meeting with the CEO of a multi-billion dollar company one day and talk about his excitement regarding the upcoming home brewing association meeting the next can't help but put a smile on my face.

He is my perfect compliment - the ham to my cheese.  He has a way of boosting or quelling a situation with incredible discernment.

I cannot begin to express how proud of him I am...
...or how fortunate I feel to be his wife...
...or how precious our friendship is...
...or how deeply he is adored...
...or how much I love him.

It is impossible.
There are no words big or deep or true enough.

It is hard for me to remember life before we met.  How blessed I am that going forward, there will only be life having known him.
